Our Story: From Players to Builders
We’re three co-founders: Bilaal Asghar, Waleed Tariq, and Zarir Hamza who’ve spent most of our lives in New Jersey. We met in college and bonded through what brought us all to the same place: sports, competition, and the love for the game.
From running pickup runs to organizing full leagues, we lived through the chaos—lost stats, messy schedules, teams scrambling last minute, and no real way to track your performance unless someone remembered to keep score. It felt like for all the effort players were putting in, there was nothing built for us. Nothing that matched our grind.
That’s when we decided to stop waiting and build it ourselves.
We created GameGrid not just as an app, but as a platform. A clean, powerful, easy-to-use engine to run your league, track every stat, manage teams, and give players the recognition they earn on the court, field, turf, or wherever they compete. No fluff. No overcomplication. Just the tools athletes actually need to keep the game organized, competitive, and real.
Right now, it might look like it started with basketball—but this is bigger than one sport. GameGrid is built to power every game, every team, and every league we can reach. Whether it’s football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, cricket, or anything in between, our mission is to bring structure, stats, and spotlight to players everywhere, nationally and globally.
